Family Night Success!

So yesterday was my first day back to work and it was completely dead and so I got to go home after working only 2 hours which was really nice because Derek and I got to have dinner and Family Home Evening together. It was a lot better and a lot less awkward then our first FHE togerher so it was really nice.

But before I get into all that, can I just say how great all the girls are that I work with and how much I'm going to miss all of them when the summer is over? They're amazing and I love them! This is what I got to come back to yesterday when I got to work...
So after work when I came home, like I said, Derek and I had Family Night together, so we made a pizza for dinner, read each other our Patriarchal Blessings, made homemade donuts to bring to our friends at work, and then watched the 6th Harry Potter movie together, and then went to bed. It was so much fun!

Mini doughnut recipe:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
4 tbsp cooking oil

Then, we actually have a mini donut maker that we got as a wedding gift from my friend Sarah Rose, so we just pour the batter in that and cook them until they're done and then decorate them once they're cooled!
