Chocolate Chip, Coconut, PB M&M Blondie Bars... & A Giveaway

I know, could the title be any longer? But believe me, these bad boys are delicious! One of the dentist in the office where I am interning right now is having a birthday tomorrow, and it's one of the assistant's last day because her and her family are moving away, so we're having a combined office party for the two of them, and I signed up to bring a treat and thought these would be perfect! The original recipe was found at a really cute blog called Six Sisters' Stuff, but I adapted the recipe a little for what I wanted to go in them, and for what I had at my place.

They look amazing! Right?
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 stick butter, softened
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 c. shredded coconut
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. peanut butter M&Ms

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Beat the butter and brown sugar until very creamy.
  • Add the eggs, extract, salt, and baking powder and beat again.
  • Slowly beat in the flour until just combined.
  • Stir the coconut, m&m's, and chocolate chips in by hand.
  • Spread in a greased 9x13 pan and bake for 22-27 minutes
  • Let them cool completely before cutting and devouring.
