Our whirlwind trip to NY wouldn't have been complete without convincing the Dennis' to take us out on their boat. Of course the one day that we had for boating the water was very choppy. This made learning to surf the wake difficult for me, and simple for Derek. He got up first try and cruised along for a minute or two before falling, and I, like most water sports, got up for a solid two seconds before eating it. It was a quick, short lived adventure out on the lake, but a fun one nonetheless.
