This week I'm starting to actually have a consistent bump that doesn't just hang around right after meal time. This baby is growing and we're so excited to find out if it is a boy or a girl in a couple weeks! I bought my first couple pairs of maternity pants a few weeks ago and tried them on yesterday to see if they fit yet. They did the first 5 minutes I wore them, AKA for these pictures, but then after I walked around for a few minutes they loosened up and were falling down practically the entire time we were at the park last night. And then a kid threw a muddy frisbee and it hit me in the leg... Here's to hoping the stain comes out!
Destination Maternity was having a killer sale where all their clearance items were buy one get one free. These pants are Pea in a Pod brand (something I dreamed about owning my first pregnancy), and were originally $85, I scored them for $11! Can you believe that? Too bad the other pants I bought were $30 making these ones the free pair and the $11 price tag null and void, but still 2 pairs of name brand maternity pants for $30? That my friends is extreme couponing (except no coupons needed), clothing edition.
Shirt: Target (Buy Here)| Tank: Forever 21 (Buy Here)| Necklace: Forever 21 (Buy Here)| Pants: Destination Maternity (Buy Here)| Shoes: JustFab (old)
How far along: 17 weeks Weight gain: 8 pounds Maternity clothes: Bought some, don't quite fit in them yet. Sleep: Due to my refusal to purchase a body pillow, I'm sleeping, but nearly straddling our queen size bed and not leaving much room for husband. Best moment this week: Feeling little baby flutters in my belly! Current ailments: Headaches, almost daily! Movement: Feeling little baby flutters here and there. Making you queasy: The jar of pasta sauce that was in our fridge last night, we saw mold on the jar after we ate it. The sauce isn't making me queasy, just the thought of it. Gender: 3 more weeks! Most looking forward to: Knowing the gender!
Congrats! Cute shoes.

You should get a BellyBand (they sell them at Target). It's great for keeping maternity/non maternity pants up while your body is transitioning.
ReplyDeleteLooking gorgeous! Loving all the pops of color in your outfit!

Those jeans are so, so adorable on you! I've had to layer a Bella Band over some of my maternity pants to get them to stay up better and that seems to be working so far! Being in between sizes is rough!
