Casual Maternity| Stripes and Oxfords

If the truth must be told, I really hate buying clothes in the maternity section. I think they were designed by someone who has never actually been pregnant (with the exception of pants of course, those are a maternity necessity). I hate that most basic maternity tops though are super tight on your stomach. I get it, rock the bump, show it off... but seriously, it's summer, and bum hot here in NC, and the very last thing I want is a shirt that doesn't breath and hugging all my curves and what not.

For the most part I've been just buying shirts a couple sizes up in the women's department since they're for one thing, much cuter than most maternity shirts, and they loosely cover my bump and don't make me feel like I'm going to pass out from a heat stroke, or panic attack. I saw this little striped number on a recent trip to Old Navy, and being a sucker for all things stripes, home with me it went.
