DIY Gold Foil Picture Frame

I've been having a hankering (there's a word I never thought I'd write over here), to spray something with gold spray paint for a while now. It's just been this tiny little bug that wants to paint all the things gold. I mean everyone else on Pinterest has their gold everything in terms of home decor, I've been feeling a little left out. I went to Micheal's last week to get some gold spray paint to do a gold dipped mug project... but you wouldn't believe how hard it is to wrap painters tap in a perfect straight line around a mug. So I was about to abandon ship with the whole gold spray paint thing, but then I saw this picture frame sitting on my desk, and decided it could use some sprucing. And I was dying to spray paint something, so it was the first thing in my sight.

Supplies:
Picture Frame- $1 at Dollar Tree
Krylon Short Cuts Spray Paint (I used gold leaf)- $3.49 @ Michaels
Scrap paper you don't mind getting spray paint on

Directions:
Remove the picture, glass, and backing from the frame and set it to the side. Then go outside where you still have you old wrapping paper from last weeks DIY jewelry holder project, and place the frame on top of it.

Then spray paint the frame according to the package instructions. Be sure to get the inside and outside edges of the frame. Then allow it to dry according to the package instructions, about 30 minutes.

Then bring it back inside and assemble your frame back together. Then do a happy dance over how cute your frame now looks.
