From the News Room, Take 2

This past weekend we drove down to Charlotte because I had another opportunity to collaborate with WBTV News. It was fun, but a lot more hectic than the last time I was on. About eight seconds before we went live, the sound tech came running out to tell me my mic wasn't working and then had me rip the wire out from under my shirt, threw a new mic at me and ran off set. I just barely got the mic on in time for us to go live, unfortunately, you can see the wire in the front of my shirt since I didn't have a chance to run it underneath, but at least I wasn't flailing my arms and having a fit trying to get it right when we went live. I'll consider it another win over all. Although I did get tongue tied at one point and wound up loosing track of what I was trying to say. It could of all been a lot worse. The tell tale sign of it all will be if they call me back for round three right? You can check out my clip from the segment below!

  2. Wow, those grilling sheets. Too cool. I like learning about new things. I just tried that protein blend you had on here a few days ago. So good. Husband and daughter both loved it. Thanks for sharing recipes. That is very impressive you got called as a lifestyle expert on TV. How cool is that. Please share how you got that position. I know of some other bloggers who are on my hometown news channel, and I have wondered how they got a part as a contributor. Do share.

  9. You look really pretty with this outfit! And the TV collaboration looks really cool, I love how you speak about those tiny mistakes and just make no bog deal. You really leave it behind and that's someting I got to learn.
