In the blogging world there is sometimes a lot of pressure to be elaborate people. All the tablescapes, fabulous outfits, amazing recipes and DIY projects. All those things are great, but I feel like they don't always represent who people really are, or at least who I am. We're not elaborate people. Especially when it comes to New Years. When we lived in Utah the most adventurous thing we would do we was hang out and play Settelers of Catan for hours until the ball dropped with our friends Evan and Fernanada, and then we would go home. But that was what we did every weekend anyways.
Now that we have kids, we actually have zero plans of leaving the house at all for New Years ever again. We like to keep it simple. We'll probably play endless amounts of Ticket to Ride, which has proven to be our favorite gift of the season. I'll probably make 1-2 snacks for us to munch on, and if it's anything like last year, I'll go to bed at 11:45... because midnight seems so long to stay awake now.
I've been thinking a lot about what snacks I'll make for NYE and I think that this Horseradish Bacon Dip would be a great addition to our evening, and your's. I love it because it's made with only five ingredients... and everyone knows that simple recipes, are the best recipes. It's made with Kraft Natural Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Kraft Horseradish Sauce, bacon, chives, and sour cream. You simply mix all the ingredients together, serve with crackers, and you're good to go!
