Our Kid's Christmas Wishlist 2019

Our kids are at such fun ages where they know what Christmas is, both from a spiritual aspect, and from the more commercial aspect as well. While we will be taking the time throughout December to teach our children the true meaning of Christmas, we really do enjoy seeing how happy and grateful they are for the things they receive as well. Today I'm sharing a mixture of things that are on the kid's Christmas lists this year, a couple small items we bought them, and what we likely will and will not be getting them. Hopefully this will spark some ideas of things you can get your own kids as well!

Small Items for Both Kids:
Boogie Board Drawing Tablets: My sister-in-law has had these for her kids for years and always raves about them! We've seen really great deals for them this year, and finally went ahead and got one for each of the kids. These will slide into their stockings and will be awesome for church on Sundays!

Personalized Baby Sharks: I can't find a link for these anymore because we bought them on a daily deal site, but our kids have been obsessed with the baby shark song this year, and so we thought little baby plush skarks with their names on them would be super cute. I've linked you to one that sings, our's don't. Sorry in advance.

Gifts From Grandma:
Frozen Anna and Sven Set: My mom wanted to get some fun toys for the kids this year and she works 6 hours a week at Kohl's (I'm convinced mostly for the discount haha!) so she was able to get some great deals on things for the kids. Kinsley LOVES Frozen, and so I knew she would love this Anna and Sven set!

Star Wars Legos: Kyle loves anything and everything Lego and Star Wars, so this Lego set is going to be really well received. This should hopefully kill some time during out 16 day winter break!

The Big Gifts of 2019:
Peppa Pig Deluxe Kitchen: I found this at Ross for $60 and I knew Kinsley would LOVE it! She's obsessed with all things Peppa, and this will be great for her to work on standing too!

Hot Wheels Super Ultimate Garage: Kyle has talked about this toy non-stop for weeks! He loves watching youtube videos of other kids sending cars and such down this Hot Wheels track and so I know he will be super excited to get it this year! It's supposed to be $85ish on Black Friday, and so I'm hoping I can get online fast and snag one!

Shriner's Wish List:
Since Kinsley gets 99% of her treatments at Shriner's Hospital, they invited us to go to the north pole with them this year, and they told us to give them a list of two toys per kid between $20-40. I think they're going to pick one toy off of each kid's list to get them, and they will be given their gift by Santa at the "North Pole". Also, going to the North Pole involves us driving to the SLC airport where they put us on a plane with the kids, drive us up and down the runway a few times, and take us to a decorated terminal. Our kids are going to believe in Santa until they're 30 after this.

Elsa's Ice Palace by Little People: Another Frozen gem for our Frozen obsessed girl. She would love playing with this for hours!

Large Bumblebee Transformer: Kyle has been wanting one of these large transformers for years... maybe the North Pole will finally be his moment!

Baby With Crib: Kinsley watches youtube videos all the time of people playing with baby dolls and is always asking for one of her own. She specifically wants a baby with a crib, so this will be right up her alley!

A Smaller Hot Wheels Track:  Kyle is obviously Hot Wheels obsessed right now... so we asked for any hot wheels track for him for this Shriner's project. I'm sure he'll absolutely love anything and everything!

Something to Read:
Amelia Bedelia: I want to start reading chapter books with Kinsley before bed, and I think these Amelia Bedelia books will be a good thing to get her started on!

Magic Tree House: You guys should know by now, Kyle is Magic Tree House obsessed. He has most of the books, but we're going to get him the 21-24 box set he doesn't own yet! FYI there are going to be two new Magic Tree House books in 2020 and we're so excited!
