Cinnamon Apple Topped Yogurt Bowl

Last year I ate oatmeal almost every single morning for breakfast. Not that I really want to break up with such a long term commitment, but I have found myself wanting to try a few new things here and there. I had seen this recipe on Skinny Taste a few months back, and decided to adapt it to my own tastes and it was amazing.

Apple Topped Yogurt Bowl

In most worlds I'd never think that cooking something hot, and then putting it on top of cold yogurt would taste good, but superfood yogurt bowls are really becoming a thing around here in Utah, and it turns out you can apparently put anything in a yogurt bowl and still have it taste good.

Ingredients:
1 5oz Container of Vanilla Greek Yogurt
1 Apple Diced
1 Tbsp Raisins
2 tsp Cinnamon
Dash of Nutmeg
1/4 Cup Water

Directions:
In a pot on the stove, combine the water, apples, raisins, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Boil for about 10 minutes, or until apples are tender and cooked through.

Pour yogurt in a bowl, and then top with apple mixture when ready, serve immediately.
