About - The Happy Flammily

My name is Paige Flamm, I am the owner and sole writer of thehappyflammily.com. I started this blog back in 2011 as a way to document the adventures of my husband Derek and me being newly married. We had our first son Kyle in 2012, and our daughter Kinsley in 2014. In 2015 this blog became a full-time career for me where I was working with sponsors and branded partnerships regularly, and blogging over here several times a week.

Over the last few years, I have felt the Lord calling me to other things which led to me starting a new website, singleservingsize.com. After doing that for several months, I found myself doing freelance copywriting for other companies, which eventually landed me in a full-time position as the director of communications for a software company called giv.plus.

While this blog is not a huge focus in my life like it once was, I still have a passion for blog writing and sharing stories over here. I think it's a part of my life that will always exist to some degree. Right now I've been taking the time to go through and update/rewrite old blog posts for SEO so that they can be better seen on Google. If you see new posts with old pictures of very small children, that is likely what is going on. If you see a new post with older children, consider that a little sprinkle of modern-day life.

As a snapshot into our current life, my husband Derek works in finance for an aerospace company. I'm in graduate school full-time at Moody Bible Institute pursuing a Master's in Bible Studies. I'm also homeschooling our son Kyle who is 11 and in sixth grade. Yes, I'm homeschooling, working, and doing grad school all at the same time. Our daughter Kinsley is nine, she has Cerebral Palsy as a result of a rare brain malformation called holoprosencephaly. You can read more about that on my blog deep in the archives, but the short version is her life is nothing short of a miracle and a continual testament to God's power in our life.
