Roast Beef

This recipe was super easy to make! It even requires that you start with the roast frozen which is great because I always forget to thaw it out before hand. It came out super tender, and super moist! Essentially it was perfect! Derek even said, "I'm relieved that you can cook like this... I know I'm not going to starve!"
1 3-4 pound roast (frozen)
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)
1/4 cup flour
3/4 cup cold water

  • place just the roast in a crock pot and turn it to hi and cover for 1 hour (it will create it's own broth as it cooks)
  • after an hour turn the heat to low and let cook for 7-8 hours
  • before getting ready to serve remove 1 1/4 cup broth from crock pot
  • put in pan on hi heat with the cold water and flour
  • bring to a boil and stir until smooth (this will be your gravy)
  • serve when finished
