Cinnamon Rolls - 2013 Tue, Mar 5

In honor of Monday night AKA Family Home Evening in our house I made these delicious cinnamon rolls, using the artisan bread in five minutes a day basic recipe, and an amazing and easy filling recipe that I found online! I'm really satisfied with how they came out! 

Break off 1/4 of the dough from the artisan bread in 5 minutes/day recipe. Roll it out nice and thin and then with your prepared filling recipe, spread it evenly over the rolled out dough. Roll the dough up nice and tight and pinch the seams so it does not fall apart. Cut the log evenly into desired amount and size of cinnamon rolls. Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 25 minutes. Once done prepare the icing and enjoy!


  1. Were these as good as the ones at the RS activity?

I would say they definitely taste as good, but they're definitely not the same, so at the activity they used the brioche dough recipe, and for these I used the basic dough recipe, and then I used a different recipe for the filling and everything, so they're completely different, but Derek said that these were by far the best ones I've made!
