Today I wanted to do something fun since I was caught up on all my homework until the end of next week and Derek doesn't start his new classes until Monday. We thought it would be fun to go to Jordan Lake State Park so Jay could have his first beach experience! It was a lot of fun, but now I'm in complete summer mode and cannot wait until we get to go to the ocean at some point!
Jay did really well at the beach! I thought that he was going to crawl everywhere and even try to go into the lake without us and drown. Luckily he pretty much just sat in one spot the entire time and played with his toes. Derek held him in the lake for a little bit so he could get his toes wet and he was pretty indifferent to it. He did like sitting on the shore though and watching the waves crash in! He is such a fun little guy!
