Friday's Five - 2014: Fri, Feb 28

1. My dad got baptized three years ago this week. It took me 2 planes, 2 trains, a blizzard and 20 hours of traveling to get home from BYU for the occasion but I wound't have missed it for the world! I'm so grateful for his example!

2. Three years ago today, Derek picked me up from the airport after getting back to school from said baptism, and took me out to dinner for the first time. Clearly things went well. 

3. It's finally warm enough here to play outside together when Derek gets home from work. Clearly an occasion that calls for a family group selfie... which is a lot harder on a DSLR than you would think.  

4. Making it through the entire week without eating out once! Our reward? Eating out at Five Guys tonight. Rewarding not eating out, with eating out. Sounds wonderful! This is a favorite weeknight meal of ours! Light Lime Shrimp, YUM! (Recipe: Here)

5. Finally perfecting the chocolate chip cookie. Something I never thought would happen to me until I left this earth life and became perfected later on. (Recipe: Here)
