Valentine's Recap

This Valentine's Day was surely the best one yet. Derek worked from home due to the weather for a second day in a row (not by necessity, but that's what he told his boss). We went to Subway for lunch and then wen't to a donut shop for a little dessert. When we got home I was showered with flowers and chocolates, and Derek told me he had purchased a Groupon for me to get a 1 hour deep tissue massage, and a 1 hour hot rock treatment from Flawless Day Spa in Chapel Hill. He definitely brought his A game this year, I'm spoiled!

In return I took him to dinner at Rosati's. If you live in the Triangle, their Chicago style pizza is the best in town! Since it was Valentine's though, we ordered from the dinner menu, and their pasta dishes are just as phenomenal. It was so great to have a babysitter for an hour to just spend some one on one time together outside of the house.

I wore my new coral sweater on our Valentine's date, mainly because I was feeling festive and it's one of the only pink-ish colored things in my closet. Aside of course from a pink shirt I bought from the kids section at Target last summer, but I was feeling a bit mature for that last night I guess.
