New York Minute| 3 Ways to Style Ankle Boots and a Cobalt Purse

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas. We were originally going to drive the 12 hours from NC to NY but between waiting to here back on a job offer (still waiting btw...), sick babies, and a lack of desire to spend 12 hours in a car with said sick babies, we decided to lay low and spend the holiday in North Carolina. However, my mom and most of my friends in NY still haven't met Em so last minute with the help of my dad, I booked a flight for Em and I to go to NY Friday morning to Monday morning. I'm notorious for being a light packer (I went to Colorado for over a week once and packed everything into a duffle carry-on bag), so here are the three outfits that I'll be wearing while in NY.

I love that these shoes, and this purse universally go with a lot of the winter items in my closet. And I know that I could switch these few clothing items up a few more times and get a couple more outfits out of them. I've really been loving learning how to stretch my closet to make all my pieces work multiple ways. Derek hasn't hated it either. I haven't been a victim to the Target clearance rack in about 4 months now. #majoraccompolishment.

Also, I've been wanting a cobalt purse for months now! So when Oasap sent me this bad boy I pretty much just died. I've also been super, super impressed with the quality of it! It's super strong, which means it will probably hold up to a lot of rough housing that I'm sure Jay will put it through.
