What I Actually Got Em For Christmas

A few weeks ago I wrote my holiday gift guide for what to get a special needs three-year-old for Christmas. I still think that there are a lot of goof gift options in that post, but when it came time for shopping, I realized I wanted to get Em toys that were just like any other three-year-old, and not toys that were based off certain goals for PT and OT. She has been using her imagination and playing with her toys a lot more lately, and so I wanted to get her things to help facilitate that instead. I think this girl is going to have one awesome Christmas.

Barbie: Every little girl needs a Barbie, and Em is always so sweet with her dolls. What good is Barbie though without her Barbie Dream Car?

Mega Bloks Set: Jay has been really into building Lego sets this year, so I figured it would be fun to get Em in on this with her own Mega Bloks set!

Moana Play Set: Em LOVES playing with mini versions of her favorite characters right now. I know she's going to be through the moon obsessed with this bunch of toys from Moana.

Hungry Hungry Hippos: We've been wanting to get Em Hungry Hungry Hippos since her birthday and never pulled the plug, so we figured Christmas would be the perfect time.

Playdough: Part of Em's homework for preschool is playing with playdough monthly, so we've been upping our playdough game the last few months.

BizyBeez MagStix: This is a new toy released this holiday season that Em did a photoshoot with, and she absolutely loved playing with them at the shoot. They're an awesome building toy that I know both my kids are going to love.
