Every summer growing up we would always have awesome barbecues on Sunday's at my friend Anthony's house and his mom always made these awesome peanut butter pies for the occasion. The Adult pie always was topped with nuts, and the kids one with m&m's, they were the perfect treat to end a hot summer day with. When I found the recipe on Pinterest I knew I had to make it ASAP. It didn't disappoint.
Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese softened (microwave for 20 seconds)
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
3 cups cool whip
Hot fudge
1 store bought graham cracker pie crust, (We've done Oreo crust, and that's delicious too)
Directions:
1. Mix softened cream cheese, peanut butter, and sugar together until well blended in your mixer
2. Fold in the cool whip until well incorporated and an even color
3. Pour into pie crust and then smooth it out to the edges
4. Place in the freezer to firm up for about 20-30 mins
5. Melt hot fudge and pour/spread over the top of the pie
6. Put back in the freezer until an hour before you're ready to serve, then take it out and put it in the fridge
7. Slice it up and let you're taste buds go crazy!
Don't forget about the juicer I'm giving away at this post! All entries will be excepted until 11:59PM 5/25/12 Mountain Time!
Can't wait to try this. Looks delicious!
