The Pony Express RV Park in Salt Lake City, UT is an amazing place to stay for a family vacation whether you're local to Utah or coming into town from out of state. You won't want to sleep on this fun resort just north of Salt Lake City.
Pony Express RV Park Salt Lake City Utah:
We stayed here for the first time back in 2019 right after we sold one of our homes. There was a few days from the time we closed on our home before we could move into a rental house and figured this would be a fun place for us to land while we were in between homes. You can bring your own RV and make a reservation to park it there, however, we stayed in their two bedroom cabin during our stay which was both affordable, and really comfortable. It was like our own Airbnb with awesome amenities for the entire family.
The Pony Express RV Park Cabin Tour:
We stayed in the two bedroom cabin and it was well equipped with everything we needed for our family of four. We had two bedrooms, one with a king bed and another with two sets of bunk beds. We had the kids stay in the bunk room, and Derek and I took the King room. There was also a pull out couch in the living room, which if I remember correctly, Kyle spent a night on when he couldn't handle sleeping with his sister any longer. There was definitely space to spread out, a functional kitchen, and a bathroom that was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The Pony Express RV Park Amenities:
There were a ton of amenities for us to use while we were there. Our family of course enjoyed spending time in the pool, which we did several times during our stay. We also loved playing the big oversized yard games, and going on a bike ride using their family bikes. There was wifi, but it didn't work too well the first night of our stay. On the second night we were there we ended up purchasing the upgraded internet for $10 and that ended up working really well for our family.
Another perk to staying here was that it was pet friendly. Because we were in between houses we needed a place that would let us bring our dog. The Pony Express is very pet friendly which worked out well for us. We were able to setup. our dog's kennel right in our cabin and we had zero issues the entire time we were there.
Overall Thoughts on the Pony Express RV Park Salt Lake City Utah:
This was a really fun vacation for our family when we were in between houses and we would definitely stay there again for a fun local stay-cation. It's centrally located right near the highway so you can get anywhere you need to in Salt Lake City with ease. It's also very quiet. I anticipated being able to hear people camp or not being able to sleep if other people weren't in bed for the night, but that wasn't an issue for us at all. Our experience was very enjoyable and we highly recommend!
