The Mesa Falls Marathon race is a point to point race in the city of Ashton Idaho. It runs through the Targhee national forest and along the warm river and ends at Ashton city park. The race directors organized a really great marathon and half marathon, with a 10k and 5k and 1 mile race as well. The race course features several aid stations with light food and beverages.
So this weekend Derek and I went to Idaho so I could run the Mesa Falls Marathon, but at the pre race I switched myself to the Half instead of the full because of how unprepared I was for the race. I finished with relatively no problems and I had a lot of fun, minus the fact that it was 2 days ago and I'm still super sore. But here are some pictures of it!

Derek waited for me at the last .1 miles, and then ran to the finish with me! What a great Hubby! I loved that the point to point courses allowed you to see so much of the city.
