Homemade Chocolate Syrup

I've been so naughty ever since Thanksgiving and eating things that I most definitely shouldn't be eating! But that's what running is for right? So we can enjoy good food! I was feeling a little nostalgic today and thought that I needed to replicate The Log Jam's (where I used to work) Adirondack Log... essentially a brownie sundae. But I love making things rather then buying them at the store so I decided I needed to make my own chocolate syrup! It was super easy and was done within 5 minutes!
Need a good brownie recipe? Look here!

Ingredients:
½ cup cocoa powder
1 cup water
2 cups sugar

Directions:
Mix the cocoa powder and the water in a saucepan. Heat and stir to dissolve the cocoa. Add the sugar, and stir to dissolve. Boil for 3 minutes over medium heat. Be careful not to let it get too hot and boil over! Pour into a clean glass jar, and store in the refrigerator. Keeps for several months. Yields two cups.
