"Best Brownie Recipe"

Last night was one of those nights where I was craving chocolate so badly that I was slightly turning into a ravenous beast. Deciding brownies were the best way to remedy this problem I decided to use my Google method of "Best Brownie Recipe", and took my chances with what came up. Derek usually gets really nervous when I try to make brownies that aren't from a mix because they never taste right and are usually a dry dense cake rather than a brownie. We've been through several recipes over the last two years and this one finally nailed it! These are so chocolaty, fudgey, and delicious! These are definitely a go-to recipe from now on!
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, melted
3 cups sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease a 9x13 dish, (use a 9x13, these come out big and fudgy, and I read horror stories in the reviews from people who did not follow this rule). Combine butter, sugar, and vanilla in a mixer with paddle attachment. Add eggs one at a time until well blended. Sift together the flour, cocoa, and salt and then slowly mix into wet mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips, and then pour and spread evenly into the pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes until baked, be sure not to burn the tops. Tester inserted in the middle may not come out clean due to melted chocolate chips but they will be done, don't bake passed 35 minutes. Let cool before serving, (if you can manage).
