Cookies N Cream Strawberry Ice Cream:

This cookies n cream strawberry ice cream is super easy to make because it does not require an ice cream maker. The heavy whipping cream and sweetened condensed milk act as a base that you can use for a different number of ice cream flavors and combinations.

The addition of strawberries, vanilla, and golden Oreos though is the perfect summertime combination. The fruitiness from the berries and the sweetness of the ice cream are the perfect strawberry shortcake type of combination that I love.

How to Make No Churn Ice Cream:

To make no churn ice cream you simply take a pint of heavy whipping cream and then whip it until it gets to the stage where it has stiff peaks. From there you fold sweetened condensed milk into the whipping cream, and then any mix-ins that you want to incorporate.

You then transfer your ingredients into a bread pan lined with parchment paper or wax paper and then put it into the freezer to harden for several hours. It's best if you let it freeze overnight but I find at least 6 hours is preferred.

  3. Looks delicious!! Your food photos and recipes are always so fabulous!! We emptied out all of our cabinets and took stuff to the thrift store this summer too. I love getting rid of stuff, but I was surprised at how many things were just sitting our cabinets taking up space!

  5. I totally know what you're talking about with all the makers! lol. We have so many unused items from our wedding gifts. We got 5 crockpots, three blenders, and so much more. We had a huge wedding (450 people) and I guess we didn't register for enough gifts. lol. 7 years later and we still have 2 crockpots and a few unused "makers". We should have gotten rid of them in our many moves. That's the nice thing about moving, it forces you to get rid of stuff because you don't want to have to bother with packing it. We got rid of a ton of stuff in our moves but I think we held onto all the "makers" because they were still in the box and easy to just toss into the moving truck.

One thing we didn't get was an ice cream maker and my husband has been wanting to buy one. I'll have to show him this recipe and tell him we don't need one :) Thanks!

Wow! This comment is super long. I guess I get pretty excited talking about makers and ice cream. lol.
