Tregembo Animal Park | Wilmington North Carolina

Tregembo Animal Park located just outside of Wilmington, North Carolina is a small family owned zoo that can provide some entertainment on your way to your beach vacation. If you're needing something to do in the middle of the day, this is a great little stop along the way.

We went to Tegembo Animal Park 10 years ago on a little summer trip for the Fourth of July when our oldest son was 11 months old. While it's something we still have memories of to this day, we were left with a combination of feelings from humor to horror. While we likely would go back if we were in the area again, let's remember the keyword in the title is "animal park" not "zoo", which highlights some of the "you get what you pay for" in this scenario.
