Paiseec is a wheelchair manufacturer that has been making electronic mobility devices for several years now. They make electric mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and assisted walkers as well. They have a wide variety of products to fit many different types of mobility needs.
Our First Paiseec Wheelchair:
Paiseec reached out last year and sent us a free W3 3-in-1 Electric Wheelchair to use with our daughter. We really loved it a lot. It can be used as an electric wheelchair, or it has an assistive push mode for a caretaker to push them, or it can even turn into an assistive walker. All three options are really great, and we loved it so much!
There were two drawbacks to this chair for us personally. One, it's an adult-size wheelchair, and so it was a little big for my daughter at the age of 11. Two, it weighs 37 pounds, and because of how big it is, it was both heavy and awkward for me to get it in and out of the car on my own.
I did love that it had an incredible battery life with a 16-mile range, and I felt confident the battery was never going to die on us which is nice!
Our Second Paiseec Wheelchair:
Our daughter started junior high this year, and we wanted her to start using her electric wheelchair full time because it would be easier for her to navigate a bigger school building. We loved her first electric wheelchair, but it was the color red which she didn't love, so our friends at Paiseec sent us the brand new
Q3 Lavender Light Weight Electric Wheelchair, and I'm obsessed with it!
First, the color is beautiful and perfect for a 12-year-old girl. Second, it's five pounds lighter and much easier for me to get in and out of the car at school drop-off. Third, it is a much more compact design, so it fits my daughter much better than the W3 model. The only drawback it that the battery on this chair is only for 11 miles instead of 16, but it still lasts a couple of school days before needing to charge it again.
Who Are Paiseec Wheelchairs Best For:
Paiseec Wheelchairs are best for individuals who have good trunk control and can transfer in and out of wheelchairs independently. I think if you have poor trunk control, or much greater mobility needs, these chairs won't work well for you. But if you can support yourself, navigate a joystick independently, and get in and out on your own safely, I think this is a great chair option to consider.
