Dinner Rolls

We had Easter dinner 2 days late this year. I'm even further behind on blogging about it. I made these rolls using the artisan bread in 5 minutes a day recipe and they were perfect. Jay was a pretty big fan. I've come to learn that the sky is basically the limit with that bread dough. I've used that recipe in about 5 other recipes now, and I just really love it! These rolls were really easy, I just pulled the dough out of the bucket, shaped it into rolls, and baked them in the oven. No waiting for the dough to rise or anything! It was that easy!

The best part about this dough is that you can use as little or as much as you need. I only needed 4 rolls so that's all I made. It's always hard when I want to make rolls using other recipes and then you either have to make a couple dozen rolls or do all the math to cut the recipe in half 6 different times. So this was just perfect and easy for us!

Ingredients:
Artisan bread in 5 minutes a day basic recipe, found here

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°, break the dough and round it out into the amount of rolls that you need, and then bake in the oven for 17 minutes. Seriously, that easy!

  1. Wow! These are wonderful rolls! I am not much of a baker and feels intimidated by making bread with yeast but you are encouraging me to try it! Thanks for sharing. I have seen the book but have never dared try using the recipe....perhaps I should! :-)
