Today was full of packing and cleaning up the house before we made the trek back to Durham. We were so sad to say goodbye. Mainly because I knew I had a night full of finishing my last two classes ahead of me, while Derek has to mentally cope with the fact he has to go to work tomorrow. We managed to hit the beach up one more time in the morning. Derek and Jay both got taken out by a huge wave when Derek was trying to clean the sand off Jay. Jay was pretty mad and officially hates sand and the ocean we think. On our way out of town we stopped at the Bodie Island Lighthouse so we could check that off of our lighthouse list.
